Heads up, awardtrail readers! There's a potential fare war brewing to Chiang Mai, Thailand, and that means ridiculously cheap flights might be available. The Flight Deal flagged it, and while they only give one sample date (March 5th-12th, 2026), it's worth digging around on Google Flights or your favorite online travel agency to see if you can snag a similar deal.

Why should you care? Chiang Mai is an amazing city in Northern Thailand known for its temples, elephant sanctuaries (do your research to find ethical ones!), and delicious food. This could be your chance to experience it without breaking the bank. Even if the sample date doesn't work for you, use it as a starting point to find other deeply discounted dates. Happy hunting, and let us know if you find an awesome deal!
