Big news for Chase Sapphire cardholders who love booking hotels through the "The Edit" portal! Chase is tweaking the Points Boost perk, and it's not exactly good news. Originally, "The Edit" promised a sweet 2x points boost on your bookings, making those stays extra rewarding. However, some hotels are now showing valuations as low as 1.65 cents per point, meaning you're getting less value for your Chase points. This is definitely a devaluation, so pay close attention! Thankfully, Chase is throwing us a bone (at least for a little while). They're temporarily extending the 2 cents per point value for all "The Edit" bookings made through December 22, 2025. So, if you were planning a trip and wanted to take advantage of the boosted points, now is the time to book. Why does this matter to you? Well, if you're a Chase Sapphire loyalist who relies on that 2x boost for valuable redemptions, you'll need to adjust your strategy after December 2025.
