From now until June 5, 2026 (11:59 PM ET), you can get a 30% bonus when you transfer your Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Southwest Rapid Rewards. ✈️

Historically, Southwest transfer bonuses are incredibly rare. We’ve only seen a couple of others in recent years (like Chase's 25% bonus last November and a Bilt promo in 2025).

But does rare mean good? 🤔 Here is the breakdown:

📉 The Math: We generally value Southwest Rapid Rewards points at around 1.25 cents each. With this 30% bonus, you’re bumping that value up to a blended average of about 1.6 cents per point.

✈️ The Portal Comparison: This beats the standard redemption rate you'd get by booking flights directly through the Chase Travel℠ portal, making it a solid win for domestic flyers.

The Catch: If you usually transfer your Chase points to high-value international airlines or Hyatt hotels for those massive 2¢+ per point redemptions, this won't move the needle for you.

The Verdict: If you are a frequent Southwest flyer and want to lock in a solid domestic redemption, this is absolutely worth considering. Just don’t "back up the truck" and transfer your entire stash—with shifting airline management, points are always subject to future devaluations. Burn 'em if you plan to use 'em soon! 🙌
