Here's the deal: you need to enroll for the benefit through your Amex account. Then, purchases of the Oura Ring Gen4 on the official Oura Ring website (US only) will trigger the credit. The base price of the Gen4 is $349, which isn't exactly cheap. However, with the $200 credit, you're only paying $149 + tax. There are also ways to save even more money. Also, the older Gen3 ring is priced at $199, meaning it's essentially free after the credit.

There are reports that using Paypal to pay allows you to split the purchase across multiple cards, potentially stacking credits to get the Gen4 for free.
