Heads up, H-E-B shoppers! There's a sweet deal happening where you can score $20 off when you buy $100 worth of select gift cards. We're talking gift cards for places like Burlington, Candy Crush, Cinemark, Gap, H&M, IHOP, JCPenney, Lyft, Macy's, Nordstrom, Spa Week, Ulta, and even Whataburger!
Why should you care? Well, if you regularly shop at any of these places, it's basically free money. Buy the gift cards, use them for your normal purchases, and pocket the $20 savings. This is especially handy if you're planning any bigger purchases at places like Nordstrom or Macy's. Also, pro tip: think about grabbing a Whataburger gift card if you frequent the Texas-based chain to save on your next cheat meal!
Why This Matters for Your Strategy
News in the points-and-miles world moves fast, and promotional changes often have a short window. If this announcement affects a card or program you hold, log into your awardtrail dashboard to check your current benefit usage, bonus progress, and whether a transfer or redemption makes sense right now — before terms change.
As a general rule: transfer points only when you have a specific redemption in mind — transfers are almost always one-way and non-reversible. If you're unsure of the value, check our redemption guides before acting.
