Hong Kong Chase Sapphire Lounge Saying "再見" Soon!
Published on December 2, 2025, 9:06 PM
Heads up, Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders! The very first Chase Sapphire Lounge, located in Hong Kong International Airport (HKG), is closing its doors on January 5, 2026. Yep, that's not a typo – 2026. While it seems far off, it's worth noting if HKG is a regular stop on your travel routes. Why should you care? Well, if you've enjoyed escaping the airport chaos in this swanky lounge with your Chase Sapphire Reserve card, you'll need to find a new pre-flight sanctuary when traveling through Hong Kong in the future. Though this lounge is closing, Chase Sapphire Lounges are popping up in more and more airports, so hopefully, you'll have another one to visit soon. This news also highlights how lounge access can change. Lounges open and close, and partnerships shift. Make sure you stay up-to-date on the latest lounge access rules for your credit cards, so you aren't caught off guard on your next trip.
