Omni Hotels Could Become a Surprise Transfer Partner – Here's Why You Should Care
Published on November 30, 2025, 9:30 PM
Hold up, travel hackers! There's buzz that Mesa Airlines (yes, the airline!) might be adding Omni Hotels as a transfer partner. Right now, Omni points are like a walled garden – you can only earn them through stays and spending at Omni properties. No other major flexible point programs (think Chase Ultimate Rewards, Amex Membership Rewards, etc.) let you transfer points *to* Omni. Why should you care? Well, if this happens, it opens up a new avenue to snag free nights at Omni Hotels using points you might already have sitting around. Mesa has a credit card that's offered a solid 50,000-point bonus in the past, and the addition of Omni as a transfer partner would greatly increase the card's value proposition. While the transfer ratio likely won't be 1:1 (Omni requires 100 credits for a free night and earns credits relatively slowly through paid stays), this could still be a valuable way to stretch your points and experience some luxury. Keep an eye on this one!
