TripAdvisor is basically handing out $50 off any "Things To Do" activity you book through their app when you join TripAdvisor Rewards. Think tours, experiences, cooking classes, anything fun you might want to do on your next trip. And the best part? The activity only needs to cost $1 or more to qualify!
Here's the catch: this deal is valid only for purchases made within the TripAdvisor app and expires on December 2nd. But that's not all! If you browse "Things to Do" in the app but don't book anything, some users have reported receiving an additional $10 credit after a few hours. It's like TripAdvisor is begging you to have a good time!
Why should you care? Well, free money is free money! If you have any travel plans coming up, even local ones, this is an easy way to save on fun activities. It's basically like getting a free museum ticket or a discounted walking tour. Make sure to install the app soon, because this offer won't last.
Why This Matters for Your Strategy
News in the points-and-miles world moves fast, and promotional changes often have a short window. If this announcement affects a card or program you hold, log into your awardtrail dashboard to check your current benefit usage, bonus progress, and whether a transfer or redemption makes sense right now — before terms change.
As a general rule: transfer points only when you have a specific redemption in mind — transfers are almost always one-way and non-reversible. If you're unsure of the value, check our redemption guides before acting.
