EVA Air Miles on Sale: Should You Bite?
Published on December 13, 2025, 9:23 PM
EVA Air, known for its Hello Kitty-themed planes and solid service, is selling its Infinity MileageLands miles with a bonus of up to 35% until December 31, 2025. That brings the price down to around 2.96 cents per mile. The big question is: should you buy them? This deal could be worthwhile if you have a specific, high-value redemption in mind, like a business or first-class flight on EVA Air, particularly if you can't find award availability through partner airlines. But, it's generally not a good idea to buy miles speculatively. Award availability can change, and programs can devalue their miles (meaning they become worth less) without notice. Before you jump in, check how many miles you'd need for your dream trip and compare that cost to simply buying a ticket outright. Also, remember that you can often book EVA Air flights using miles from partner programs like United MileagePlus or Avianca LifeMiles, sometimes at a better rate. Always do your homework to ensure you're getting the best possible value!
