Choice Privileges is giving you more ways to spend those points! They've just added a fresh batch of racing-themed experiences to their "Experiences" platform, offering something exciting even with football and racing seasons winding down. Think of it as an auction site, but using your Choice points instead of cash.
Why should you care? Well, if you're sitting on a pile of Choice points (especially those earned from transferable currencies like Amex Membership Rewards or Capital One Miles), this gives you a cool alternative to just booking hotel stays. Plus, they're focusing on experiences tied to their Cambria brand, with offerings like brewery tours in Asheville and lift ticket packages in Lake Placid. This is a great way to redeem those points for unique and memorable travel adventures instead of just another hotel night.
Why This Matters for Your Strategy
News in the points-and-miles world moves fast, and promotional changes often have a short window. If this announcement affects a card or program you hold, log into your awardtrail dashboard to check your current benefit usage, bonus progress, and whether a transfer or redemption makes sense right now — before terms change.
As a general rule: transfer points only when you have a specific redemption in mind — transfers are almost always one-way and non-reversible. If you're unsure of the value, check our redemption guides before acting.
