Want to bulk buy your travel snacks or stock up on those Kirkland Signature goodies? Right now, Costco is offering a deal where new members (or those whose memberships lapsed at least 18 months ago) can snag a $40 or $60 Costco shop card when they sign up for a new membership. You can get this offer either directly from Costco's website using code NEWMBR25, or through Groupon.

Here's the catch: you need to purchase the deal by December 21, 2025, and it's only for new members or those who haven't had a membership for at least 18 months. Also, the shop card won't work at the food court. To maximize your savings, swing by a shopping portal like Shopback for additional cashback on your Groupon purchase. Just be aware if you choose the executive membership, refunds on the overage cost may not be possible through Groupon.

Even though it isn't the BEST Costco deal we have ever seen, it’s still a good way to save some money if you've been thinking about joining. A shop card can go a long way in Costco!
