Heads up, ski bums and Alaska Airlines fans! The awesome "Fly Alaska, Ski Free" promo is back, now called "Alaska Alpine Getaways"! Basically, if you're flying into select airports in the Pacific Northwest or Alaska, your boarding pass gets you sweet deals at six participating ski resorts. We're talking free lift tickets, discounts on rentals, and other cool perks.

This is a fantastic way to save some serious cash if you were already planning a ski trip. Just flash your Alaska Airlines boarding pass (make sure to check the fine print for eligible dates and airports!) at resorts like Alyeska Resort in Alaska, or the Ikon Pass destination, The Summit at Snoqualmie, near Seattle.

Why does this matter to you? Well, if you’re an AwardTrail reader who loves hitting the slopes, this promotion can seriously slash your vacation costs. Instead of paying full price for lift tickets, you can use your flight confirmation and spend that money on après-ski drinks or that new pair of gloves you've been eyeing! Plus, it's a great excuse to explore some awesome resorts you might not have considered before.
