Mesa Cardholders, Last Chance for Travel Rewards! Here's How to Snag 'Em!
Published on December 13, 2025, 9:22 PM
So, the bad news first: the Mesa credit card is officially done-zo. Kaput. The *really* bad news? If you're holding onto Mesa points, your only official redemption option is a measly 0.6 cents per point as a statement credit. Ouch! That's why you need to get those points out! But hold on, don't cash out just yet! One clever reader, Jay, discovered a workaround to transfer those points to travel partners. Basically, you need to uninstall, reinstall, and then trick the app into thinking it can't update by using airplane mode *briefly*. It's a bit of a techy dance, but if you follow the instructions carefully, you might be able to transfer to programs like Cathay Asia Miles, Air Canada Aeroplan, and others *while it still works*. Now, a word of caution: While this trick seems to work for some, there's a risk these transfers could be reversed later, especially if Mesa can't actually pay its partners. So, if you manage to transfer, it might be smart to use those miles sooner rather than later. Good luck, and get those points moving!
