Heads up, deal hunters! Dollar General is running a one-day promo (Friday, December 19, 2025) where you can snag 20% off gift cards for Darden (think Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse), Bath & Body Works, and Buffalo Wild Wings. If you frequent these places, this could be a sweet way to save some cash on your next meal or that lavender-scented candle you've been eyeing. The Doctor of Credit also mentioned Uber, and 20% off ride-sharing is a real win.

Now, before you rush out and load up, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. First, some Dollar General stores might not let you pay for gift cards with a credit card, so you'll need to use cash or debit. Also, if you're a Costco member, you can often find similar discounts on gift cards online at Costco.com without the hassle of a potentially credit card-less transaction. This deal is super targeted for those who like to shop at these specific retailers, but also may not have access to Costco.
