Chase Sapphire Reserve's New Dining Credit: A Delicious Deep Dive
Published on October 22, 2025, 9:57 PM
Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders, listen up! Your annual dining credit just got a makeover. Instead of a general $300 credit, you now get $150 to spend between January and June, and another $150 from July to December. The catch? It's only valid at a curated list of restaurants called "Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables," powered by OpenTable. So, you'll need to dine at participating spots in one of 26 cities to take advantage. Find the list of restaurants by clicking on a city on this page, or by using a website called useyourcredits.com. Why should you care? Well, if you're a foodie who loves dining out, this could be a fantastic perk, effectively lowering the annual fee on your CSR. Tips, taxes, and service fees all count toward the credit, which is awesome. But, keep in mind this new credit is geared towards a luxury dining experience, and there are only a few hundred restaurants in major metro areas. Don't expect to find many options if you live outside of these areas. Also, if you had the Sapphire Reserve card *before* June 23, 2025, you need to wait until October 26, 2025, before your credits become active. To maximize this credit, look into using it in conjunction with inKind (a dining program offering discounted credits) or card-linked dining programs. You can split your bill to use both! While gift cards and delivery are technically excluded, some users have reported success with buying physical gift cards or paying for take-out directly at the restaurant. As always, your mileage may vary, but it's worth a try. Just make sure to pay directly with your CSR and avoid third-party apps.
