Hyatt Card Perks Up: 65,000 Points + Nights Offer - Is It Worth It?
Published on October 17, 2025, 9:49 PM
Chase and Hyatt are back with an increased offer on the World of Hyatt credit card, giving you the chance to snag up to 65,000 bonus points. You'll get 30,000 points after spending $3,000 in the first three months. Plus, you can earn an extra 30,000 points by racking up 2x points on everyday spending (restaurants, transit, etc.) in the first six months, up to $15,000 spent. This is on top of the standard 1x you would already earn. There's also a little bonus for those chasing elite status: you'll earn 2 tier-qualifying night credits for each eligible Hyatt stay between mid-October and the end of January, up to 15 nights. Why should you care? If you're a Hyatt loyalist, this offer could accelerate your path to elite status and pad your points balance for future stays. The card also comes with solid ongoing perks, like a free night certificate each year (valid at Category 1-4 hotels) and automatic Discoverist status. The $95 annual fee might be worth it if you frequently stay at Hyatt properties and can maximize the bonus categories. However, it's important to note that Doctor of Credit thinks the better offer is five free night certificates instead. Unless you REALLY need the qualifying night credits to reach a new status tier, this offer might not be the most lucrative option out there. So, weigh your options and travel goals before jumping in!
