Hey AwardTrail readers, feeling a trip to the Philippines? United's got a sweet deal to Manila (MNL) right now for around $1,025! What makes this deal stand out is that it's a regular economy fare.
Why should you care? Well, unlike those basic economy fares that nickel and dime you for everything, this fare includes TWO checked bags! Plus, you still get to bring a normal-sized carry-on bag. This is a huge win if you're planning to bring home lots of souvenirs or need the extra luggage space. So, if Manila's been on your list, now might be the time to book!
Why This Matters for Your Strategy
News in the points-and-miles world moves fast, and promotional changes often have a short window. If this announcement affects a card or program you hold, log into your awardtrail dashboard to check your current benefit usage, bonus progress, and whether a transfer or redemption makes sense right now — before terms change.
As a general rule: transfer points only when you have a specific redemption in mind — transfers are almost always one-way and non-reversible. If you're unsure of the value, check our redemption guides before acting.
