TopCashback is running a flash promotion today only (October 31, 2025) where you can snag bonus cashback on purchases through their portal. Depending on the offer you received (between $1-$10), you'll need to spend between $15-$200 to trigger the bonus. To make sure you're eligible, you absolutely MUST activate the offer through the provided link before you shop!
Why is this important for award travelers? Because TopCashback often partners with retailers you might use to book travel or buy travel-related gear! Even better, some users are buying gift cards through TopCashback for stores like Home Depot or Target to trigger the bonus cashback. Then, they use those gift cards for everyday purchases or even to buy other gift cards (think gas or restaurants).
Keep in mind that not all merchants are eligible for cashback (Booking.com and Hotels.com are specifically excluded), so double-check the fine print. Also, make sure your purchase tracks correctly; otherwise, you might need to file a support ticket to claim your bonus. But hey, for a few extra dollars back on your shopping, it's definitely worth a quick look!
Why This Matters for Your Strategy
News in the points-and-miles world moves fast, and promotional changes often have a short window. If this announcement affects a card or program you hold, log into your awardtrail dashboard to check your current benefit usage, bonus progress, and whether a transfer or redemption makes sense right now — before terms change.
As a general rule: transfer points only when you have a specific redemption in mind — transfers are almost always one-way and non-reversible. If you're unsure of the value, check our redemption guides before acting.
