Hey awardtrail readers, dreaming of the Philippines? United has a sweet deal right now for flights to Manila (MNL) for around $584! What makes this deal extra special? It's for a regular economy ticket, which means you get TWO checked bags included, plus your usual carry-on. No need to stress about packing light or paying extra baggage fees.
This is a big deal because usually, the cheapest fares are "basic economy," which often come with restrictions like no seat selection and extra fees for checked bags. With this deal, you can pack everything you need without racking up additional costs. So, if Manila's on your travel list, now might be the time to book! It's not clear how long this fare will last, so jump on it!
Why This Matters for Your Strategy
News in the points-and-miles world moves fast, and promotional changes often have a short window. If this announcement affects a card or program you hold, log into your awardtrail dashboard to check your current benefit usage, bonus progress, and whether a transfer or redemption makes sense right now — before terms change.
As a general rule: transfer points only when you have a specific redemption in mind — transfers are almost always one-way and non-reversible. If you're unsure of the value, check our redemption guides before acting.
