Wyndham Rewards is giving United MileagePlus members a sweet deal: double miles when you transfer Wyndham points to United! This is on top of a separate, existing Wyndham promotion that gives you a 25% bonus on hotel points transfers. If you're lucky, the deals stack.
Why should you care? Well, if the offers do stack, you could turn 30,000 Wyndham points into 15,000 United miles. That's a potentially awesome boost towards your next award flight, especially since Wyndham points are relatively easy to earn.
This deal is worth considering, particularly since United just devalued their Vacasa vacation rental partnership, meaning that your miles are worth less than before when booking through them. So, if you've got Wyndham points sitting around, this could be a great way to give your United MileagePlus balance a welcome boost!
Why This Matters for Your Strategy
News in the points-and-miles world moves fast, and promotional changes often have a short window. If this announcement affects a card or program you hold, log into your awardtrail dashboard to check your current benefit usage, bonus progress, and whether a transfer or redemption makes sense right now — before terms change.
As a general rule: transfer points only when you have a specific redemption in mind — transfers are almost always one-way and non-reversible. If you're unsure of the value, check our redemption guides before acting.
