Heads up, Shop Your Way (SYW) Mastercard holders! Citi is converting your card into a standard Citi ThankYou Mastercard by December 31, 2025, just like they did with the old Sears card. However, there's a key change to the rewards program. Starting November 3, 2025, you'll no longer earn Shop Your Way Additional Category Earn Program Global Points when using your SYW Mastercard. So, that bonus earning you might have been getting in specific categories? Gone. The points you've already earned are still valid for a while, but keep an eye on those expiration dates!
