Heads up, deal hunters! United is offering some sweet roundtrip flights to Taipei (TPE) for around $837. What makes this deal extra special? It's not a basic economy fare! You actually get two free checked bags included, plus a regular-sized carry-on. That's a huge perk, especially if you're planning on doing some serious shopping or bringing back gifts.
Why does this matter to you? Well, if you've been eyeing a trip to Taiwan, this is a great way to save some serious cash. Factoring in the cost of checked bags on other airlines, this United deal could easily save you $100 or more. Plus, avoiding basic economy means you'll likely get to choose your seat in advance and board earlier, making your travel experience much smoother. Don't wait too long to book - these deals can disappear fast!
Why This Matters for Your Strategy
News in the points-and-miles world moves fast, and promotional changes often have a short window. If this announcement affects a card or program you hold, log into your awardtrail dashboard to check your current benefit usage, bonus progress, and whether a transfer or redemption makes sense right now — before terms change.
As a general rule: transfer points only when you have a specific redemption in mind — transfers are almost always one-way and non-reversible. If you're unsure of the value, check our redemption guides before acting.
