Heads up, United flyers! United's Mile Play promo is back, giving you a chance to snag some bonus miles. Basically, United throws some personalized challenges your way, and if you hit those targets by December 22, 2025, you'll rake in the extra miles.
This is usually based on your previous flights with them, but you might have to fly a bit more than usual to actually get these miles.
So, why should you care? Well, free miles are always good, right? It's definitely worth a quick peek to see what United's offering you. Just don't bend over backwards to chase the bonus if the requirements are too steep – sometimes the "deal" isn't worth the extra travel hassle.
Why This Matters for Your Strategy
News in the points-and-miles world moves fast, and promotional changes often have a short window. If this announcement affects a card or program you hold, log into your awardtrail dashboard to check your current benefit usage, bonus progress, and whether a transfer or redemption makes sense right now — before terms change.
As a general rule: transfer points only when you have a specific redemption in mind — transfers are almost always one-way and non-reversible. If you're unsure of the value, check our redemption guides before acting.
