Heads up, Sears cardholders! Citi's sending out targeted spending bonuses on those old Sears SYWR cards. Some folks are seeing offers like "Earn 10% back (up to $100) when spending $800+ on in-store and online retail in November, December, and/or January." Basically, free money (or points!) for spending you were probably already planning to do. Why should you care? Well, these Sears cards are slowly being converted into Citi ThankYou cards. There was some question of whether these targeted spending offers would continue through the conversion process, but it seems they are for now. If you got one of these offers, make sure to activate it and take advantage of it. A cool $100 back is nothing to sneeze at, especially since it stacks with any other existing deals you might have. This offer's existence also makes it less likely that a new First Bank card would offer similar deals.
