Hey awardtrail readers, listen up! There's a solid deal popping up for flights to Beijing (PEK) in January 2026 from multiple US cities. The Flight Deal flagged this one, so it's worth checking out if you're thinking about experiencing the Great Wall or Peking duck on a budget.
While they only mention one sample date (January 22nd-29th, 2026), it’s a good idea to play around with different dates on Google Flights or your favorite Online Travel Agency to see if you can find something that works for your travel plans. This is important because deals like this don't usually last long, and flexibility is key to snagging the best prices.
Why This Matters for Your Strategy
News in the points-and-miles world moves fast, and promotional changes often have a short window. If this announcement affects a card or program you hold, log into your awardtrail dashboard to check your current benefit usage, bonus progress, and whether a transfer or redemption makes sense right now — before terms change.
As a general rule: transfer points only when you have a specific redemption in mind — transfers are almost always one-way and non-reversible. If you're unsure of the value, check our redemption guides before acting.
