Your Guide to Radisson Rewards
A program with a strong European presence, but a complex structure.

Understanding the Two Programs

How to Earn Radisson Points

Earning Radisson points is primarily done through hotel stays and their co-branded credit cards. There are no major bank transfer partners, which makes them a bit harder to collect.

MethodDescription
Co-branded Credit CardsRadisson offers co-branded credit cards in the U.S. through U.S. Bank.
Hotel StaysEarn points for eligible stays at Radisson properties.
PartnersEarn points with various airline and car rental partners.

How to Use Your Points

Both Radisson programs use a dynamic pricing model, where the number of points you'll need for a free night can change based on demand.

  • Free Night Awards: Use your points to book standard rooms. The cost will vary by property and date.
  • Points + Cash: If you're low on points, you can reduce the cash cost of a stay by redeeming a partial amount of points.
  • Airline Transfers: You can transfer points to airline partners, but the transfer ratios are generally very poor. It's best to avoid this.

The Best Deals (Sweet Spots)

Value can be found, especially if you travel to Europe frequently or can take advantage of a good promotion.

European Redemptions

Radisson has a strong portfolio of hotels in Europe. You can often find good value using your points there, especially at their high-end Radisson Blu and Radisson Collection brands.

Look for Promotional Offers

Keep an eye out for special promotions that can offer discounted award nights or bonus points on your stays.

RewardSaver Rates

Similar to other programs' Points & Cash options, you can use fewer points and pay a cash co-pay for a room, which can be a good deal.
