How to Use TrueBlue Points
JetBlue's program is refreshingly simple. The number of points you need for a flight is tied directly to the cash price. No confusing award charts to deal with.
- Simple Value: Each point is generally worth between 1.2 and 1.6 cents when used for a flight. What you see is what you get.
- No Blackout Dates: If there's a seat for sale on a JetBlue flight, you can book it with points.
- Pool Your Points: You can combine points with up to 7 friends and family members for free, making it much easier to save up for award flights together.

The Best Deals (Sweet Spots)
Even though the program is tied to cash prices, you can still find some great deals:
This is one of the best domestic business class products. Using your points for a lie-flat Mint seat on a cross-country flight or to Europe is a fantastic experience and often a great value.
Don't have enough points for a flight? No problem. You can pay with a mix of points and cash, starting with as few as 500 points.
Use your TrueBlue points to book flights on partner Hawaiian Airlines. The redemption rates are fixed and can be a great deal compared to high cash prices for flights to the islands.
A lesser-known sweet spot. You can book flights on partner Qatar Airways, including their famous Qsuite business class, by calling JetBlue. This opens up a world-class network to the Middle East and beyond.
Partners & Rules
JetBlue isn't in a major airline alliance, but it has built a strong list of individual airline partners.
- Key Airline Partners: Hawaiian Airlines, Icelandair, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Silver Airways.
- Booking Partners: An important note: while you can earn points on most partners, you can currently only *redeem* points on Hawaiian and Qatar. Partner bookings usually require calling JetBlue.
- Simple Rules: The program is point-to-point. You book each flight separately, so there are no complex routing rules to worry about.
