Expedia Rewards Overhaul: Wells Fargo Launches "One Key" Credit Cards with Big Bonuses!

Wells Fargo just dropped two new credit cards in partnership with Expedia's "One Key" rewards program (which combines Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo). There's the One Key+ Card ($99 annual fee) and the basic One Key Card (no annual fee). The real kicker? Big sign-up bonuses! You can snag $600 in OneKeyCash after spending $3,000 in the first three months with the One Key+ Card, or $400 in OneKeyCash after spending $1,000 in the first three months with the no-annual-fee One Key Card.
These cards earn rewards as "OneKeyCash" which you can use within the Expedia ecosystem. Both cards offer 3% back on Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo purchases, plus 3% at gas stations, grocery stores, and on dining. The One Key+ card gives you 2% on everything else, while the no-fee card gives 1.5%. The One Key+ card also throws in a $100 annual OneKeyCash bonus and a credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck.
So, what's the catch? While the sign-up bonuses are tempting, the long-term value might not be there. The Doctor of Credit folks point out that booking through third-party sites like Expedia often means missing out on hotel elite benefits and elite night credits. However, if you're a frequent Expedia user and can maximize the initial bonus, it might be worth grabbing one of these cards, especially the One Key+ card. Just remember to do the math and see if it fits your travel style.
