Aven Launches New No-Fee Credit Card: Is 6% on Groceries Too Good to Be True?
Published on November 6, 2025, 9:02 PM
Aven, known for its… *unique* approach to financial products, just dropped a new credit card with no annual fee. The headline grabber? A sweet 6% cashback on groceries, up to $10,000 spent annually. It also gets you 2% back on everything else. This card appears to be different from their previous 3% card, which was tied to home equity. So, why should you care? Well, if you're a big spender at the grocery store, this could be a fantastic way to rack up some serious rewards without paying an annual fee. That 6% is a very high rate of return, beating out almost every other cashback card on the market for groceries. Just remember to weigh whether you can actually spend close to $10,000 a year on groceries. Aven is also offering a $5 weekly gift card. It's interesting to see them experimenting with different products and rewards structures. Ultimately, it remains to be seen whether the card will be a success or if Aven will make changes to it.
